About Us

A writer must write, a painter must paint, a sculptor must sculpt and a photographer must capture photographs. Artists have something inside of them that has to come out. So much of what we do is to address a need or a problem or to sooth some pain.  We have a perspective to share and insight to enlighten others with.  It must get out and when it does, it's genuine, it's healing, it's a cathartic release. When we have a platform, when our work is appreciated, when it sells or when they understand, it is fulfilling and it is confirmation. The artists selected for this gallery are among the finest creators in central Florida. They all have something unique, important and special to share.  This is why I created A Perfect Union Art Gallery. 

The name of the gallery is aspirational. It comes from two objectives: 

• Promote national unity by celebrating diversity 
• Strengthen family unity by creating art that symbolizes family bonds.

We work towards the first objective by supporting local artists from diverse backgrounds that share their culture through art. Though art, we can celebrate the beauty of our cultures and its history, norms, icons and symbols. I believe that when we share and talk about our different backgrounds, we understand each other better and learn how much we are alike. This is a path to greater unity. We host local artists for exclusive shows that last four to six weeks.

We achieve the second objective by creating original hand-painted jewelry in family sets. This is my art. Each collection has individually painted pieces in a particular color scheme with shapes and sizes meant to cover four generations. I'm sure you will find that our paintings, sculpture and wearable art are impactful works by dedicated creators. We support local artists by providing a platform to share their work with the world. In return, we see the beauty and power in every brushstroke, inkblot, and snapshot. Lets enjoy together and work our way towards a perfect union.

I want to share with you my first piece that I created in the state of Florida when I moved here in 2018...
