"I am inspired by the world around me; the beauty, mystery, colors, complexity and feelings evoked spending time surrounded by nature." --Cindy Meadows
Cindy Meadows is a passionate artist who began creating visual art at an early age as she watched her father, an architect, create beautiful drawings of his designs. After discovering the joys of painting, she immersed herself in the world of art. She is known for her expressive, colorful, abstract paintings using heavy acrylics, oil pastels, mark-making, and mixed media. Her artistic work is marked by exploration, especially regarding mixtures of colors and shapes, which gives expression to distinctive abstract style.

I refer to my art as Expressionistic paintings. Whether realistic or abstract they are my impressions of the subject matter. I work from photos that I have taken and from memories. In either case, my hand is guided by my emotions rather than structure and rules. I refer to my process as that of a mime doing improv with a brush. My canvass is now my iPad, my brush is an Apple Pencil and my primary application is a program called Procreate. I publish Limited Edition GiClee Prints and my original Artist Proofs are presented on Canvass and/or White Chromaluxe Aluminum. I began my art career at age 12 using oil paints on canvass. This continued through the completion of my major concentration while studying at Florida State University. I then accepted a position with Seminole County School Board as the Graphic Artist in the county office, and completed my senior year of college at FTU (now UCF) and received my Bachelor of Fine Art Degree. I am now retired and living my dream of painting full-time. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.

Native to both New Orleans and Orlando her work spans a variety of mediums, including paint, charcoal, and the more well known costumes, masks and headdresses that are her real passion. Raised by her grandfather on his Arabian horse ranch the family was affiliated with the former Arabian Nights dinner theater. She was greatly influenced by the costumes and drama of the show. Her grandfather had a charm that could out-show PT Barnum himself. This, combined with her love of all things Carnival as she made custom adornments for herself and friends during Mardi Gras prepared her to enter the art scene formally with trademark flair and glamour. Andria resides in Orlando with her family and is a proud mother of three sons.

Photography has provided me a way to slow down and meditate on the beautiful things around me, looking at views that I used to let go by without a thought. Many photographers have influenced me, especially Florida photographer Clyde Butcher, who not only creates masterpiece black and white landscape photos but also is active in ecological preservation movements. Light and composition, lens choice for a scene, getting low near the ground, going vertical to capture beautiful Florida clouds, these are the questions that I go through my mind now, and I try to capture those moments to share with others.
